Great prices, good staff and some really nice food items. Stores are always very clean and generally very well stocked. Prices are very reasonable too.
I went to my local Aldi this morning to purchase a egg chair that was advertised I got their at 8.15 as I knew their would be a queue and to my dismay the store was open .the store normally opens at 9 am.i queued for about 10 minutes and when I asked the security guard is their any egg chairs left he said no they were sold out at 7 am this morning.i said to him but you don't open until 9.he replied but their were people queing and we only had 6 chairs in stock.why advertise chairs and have a low amount of stock and it was the same with all of the stores.a lady in the queue told me Aldi does this every year to get people in for their garden event. I have yet to meet someone that has purchased one of these so called famous chairs that some many celebs that have purchased in Aldi.why didn't they have a sign on their door telling customers they were sold out and even as I write this if you look up egg chair Aldi on their website it tells you available and in store.what a rip off .I don't think Aldi has ever sold egg chairs they say they do but when you look at the reviews for the chair their are none???

So happy with new soft comfortable dog beds! It's really gone down a treat.
I was in the store in Donegal Town on Saturday. All staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The young guy at checkout noticed some fruit was badly bruised which I hadn't noticed. He offered to get new ones off he went to other end of store to get fresh ones all done with a smile.
Re: the Aldi store on Ashe road, Waterford. Every week or so I visit this store to get some items.
Every time I have visited the store and use one of the blue baskets, they sre literally disgusting!. I do not mean rubbish left by a previous customer, but ground in filth!.
Last time was just last week.
I arrived and waited for an elderly Lady to get her blue basket, she made several attempts to find a clean basket and then she had to clean it with the cleaning liquid provided by Aldi. She cleaned off the handle and tipped up the basket to show me the inner base, which was literally caked in some sort of gunk!.
I thought to myself, surely there is a cleaner one in the bunch. I went through 7 baskets, to find just one that was suitable for the fresh produce I was about to purchase, though it was very far from clean!.
Surely a staff member could go across to the hire centre (5 minute walk) and hire a pressure washer!.
It would take one person about 1/2 a day, once every few weeks to pressure wash the baskets and return them to some kind of cleanliness.
Especially in view of the fact that the counry is under Covid-19 lock down!.
I have been getting food delivered. I am very disappointed. I've been charged extra for certain goods on a number of occassions. Also they are providing me with meat at times which best before is the next day. I won't be dealing with them again.
I do my shopping in aldi carrick on shannon I was doing my shopping this morning as I do there was 4 people with no masks donning their shopping and one of the staff on the floor was just talking to him as a friend I couldn't wait to get out of the shop as I have heart problems why didn't anyone say anything
I am unable to wear face coverings due to past experiences, which were no fault of mine, im perfectly healthy thank God' and i try very much in my daily life to keep myself from getting distressed.
My recent visit to an Aldis shop was such a positive experience, first of all to see a poster on their front entrance ,supporting people like myself that cannot wear face coverings ,i felt so overjoyed and at peace and safe entering their shop, feeling assured by those words on the poster ,asking people to be understanding of those who cannot wear face masks.
Thankyou to all Aldi staff' for emphatizing with genuine customers who have encounterd bad experiences with some shops.

Several month ego I was looking for a dryer in Aldi ( Newlands Cross ). I could not find it there, so I asked the staff... Item was not available. But the Aldi guy, instead of "I do not know", or "you have to check in other store too" etc. offered me to check for me, in which Aldi store that item was available. Within 5/6 min my "problem" was solved - I knew in which store I could find it. Very nice and professional approach. As an ex salesman - I really appreciated it.
Don't buy Ambiano products! They don't honour the warranty for those products. I bought one with 3 years warranty, the product stop working after 1 year and they never gave me any repair or replacement.
